Bizot Gets 4, Lindelof With 7 | Aston Villa Players Rated In Poor Loss Vs Newcastle United

Aston Villa welcomed Newcastle United at Villa Park earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the FA Cup. The Villans made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 14th minute thanks to Tammy Abraham’s effort. Marco Bizot was sent off by the referee in the latter stages of the first half as Unai Emery’s players went into the half-time break 1-0 to the good.

The ten men of Aston Villa conceded the equaliser in the 63rd minute when Sandro Tonali found the back of the net. Tonali scored again for the visitors just 13 minutes later before Nick Woltemade killed the game off in the final stages. The match finished with the West Midlands club suffering a poor 3-1 loss in front of their home fans.
