Yamal, Pedri And De Jong To Start | 4-2-3-1 Barcelona Predicted Lineup Vs Real Sociedad

Barcelona will clash heads with Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena on Sunday night as they look to secure a win on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club managed to earn a solid 2-0 win over Racing Santander recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this clash.

Hansi Flick will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a lot of changes to his first team for this game. Lamine Yamal, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong could all play from the start of this contest.

Defence

Joan Garcia will feature in between the sticks for the Catalan club after he kept a clean sheet in his last appearance. Eric Garcia will operate alongside Pau Cubarsi at the heart of the Barcelona defence as they look to keep a good shape when defending inside their half.

Jules Kounde will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Alejandro Balde hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Ronald Araujo will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Frenkie de Jong and Pedri will anchor the midfield for the Catalan giants as they hope to establish their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park.

The talented trio of Raphinha, Fermin Lopez and Lamine Yamal will function just ahead of them as part of Flick’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if the Catalan outfit are to come out on top this weekend.

Marc Bernal, Marc Casado and Marcus Rashford will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Robert Lewandowski will lead the charge for the Catalan club up top. He has to figure out a way to be a real menace on the offensive third of the pitch.

Ferran Torres will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if required.
