Newcastle United will welcome Leeds United at St. James’ Park this Wednesday night as they look to secure a win at home in the Premier League. The Magpies secured a solid 2-0 win over Crystal Palace recently, which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this game.
Eddie Howe will set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team for this clash. Nick Woltemade, Harvey Barnes and Jacob Ramsey could all play from the start of this game.

Defence
Nick Pope will play in goal for the Magpies after he kept a clean sheet in his last outing. Malick Thiaw will operate alongside Fabian Schar at the centre of Howe’s defence as they look to keep a good shape at the back throughout the 90 minutes.
Lewis Miley will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Lewis Hall hopes to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.
Sven Botman and Kieran Trippier will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Jacob Ramsey, Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali will make up Newcastle’s midfield three as they look to establish their superiority at the centre of the park. All three of them will have to move the ball well if they want to engineer some decent chances for their teammates to find the back of the net.
Joelinton will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if required.
