Liverpool welcomed Burnley at Anfield earlier today as they looked to secure a win at home in the Premier League. The Reds made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 42nd minute thanks to Florian Wirtz’s excellent finish. The Merseyside club went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Marcus Edwards equalised for the visitors in the 65th minute as Arne Slot’s men had to settle for a lackluster 1-1 draw in front of their home fans.
