Will Nuno Make Any Changes? | 4-2-3-1 West Ham United Predicted Lineup Vs Chelsea

West Ham United will face off against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this Saturday as they hope to secure a result in the London derby. The Hammers managed to earn an impressive 3-1 win over Sunderland recently, which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.

Nuno Espirito Santo will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, Valentín Castellanos will once again lead the line for the East London club up top.

Defence

Alphonse Areola will play in goal for the Hammers after he conceded one goal in his last appearance. Konstantinos Mavropanos will function alongside Jean-Clair Todibo at the heart of the West Ham backline as they look to keep things solid when defending inside their half.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will try to prove his value as the right-back, while Oliver Scarles looks to put in a good performance on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Max Kilman will provide cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.

Midfield

Mateus Fernandes and Tomas Soucek will anchor the midfield for West Ham as they look to establish their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park.

The gifted trio of Crysencio Summerville, Pablo and Jarrod Bowen will play just ahead of them as part of Nuno Espirito Santo’s attack. All three of them need to link up with each other well if the Hammers are to secure a good result in the London derby this weekend.

James Ward-Prowse and Freddie Potts will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Valentín Castellanos will lead the charge for the Hammers in the final third. He has to figure out a way to be a real threat up top.

Callum Wilson will have to settle for a place on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the latter stages if West Ham are in need of a goal by then.
