Struijk Gets 8, Aaronson With 7 | Leeds United Players Rated In Entertaining Draw Vs Manchester United

Leeds United entertained Manchester United at Elland Road earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. The Whites made a solid start to the game and managed to get to the half-time interval with a goalless scoreline.

Brenden Aaronson scored the opener for the home side in the 62nd minute, which was cancelled out by Matheus Cunha’s goal just three minutes later. The contest ended with Daniel Farke’s men earning an entertaining 1-1 draw in front of their home fans.

RM: James Justin – 6.5/10

He worked hard defensively but lacked quality inside the opponent’s penalty area.

CM: Brenden Aaronson – 7/10

Aaronson was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch and managed to score the opener in the 62nd minute.

CM: Anton Stach – 7/10

He earned possession back once and engineered a few key chances for his teammates in the final third.

Gruev worked his socks off at the centre of the park but failed to threaten the opponent’s goal.

Calvert-Lewin was a real handful for the opposition defenders and was unfortunate to hit the post.
