Tottenham Hotspur welcomed Sunderland at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 30th minute when Ben Davies got his name on the scoresheet. Thomas Frank’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Brian Brobbey equalised for the visitors in the 80th minute as the contest finished with Spurs earning a hard-fought 1-1 draw in front of their home fans.
