Liverpool will face off against Olympic Marseille at Orange Velodrome on Wednesday night as they look to secure a good result on the road in the UEFA Champions League. The Reds were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Burnley recently, so they would be eager to get back to winning ways in midweek.
Arne Slot will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make one change to his first XI for this game. Alexis Mac Allister and Andy Robertson could play from the start of this contest, while Curtis Jones and Milos Kerkez make way for them and drop to the bench.
4-2-3-1 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Marseille
Defence
Alisson Becker will feature in goal for the Merseyside club after he conceded one goal in his last appearance. Ibrahima Konate will function alongside Virgil Van Dijk at the heart of the Liverpool backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.
Jeremie Frimpong will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Andy Robertson hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Joe Gomez and Milos Kerkez will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Alexis Mac Allister will anchor the midfield along with Ryan Gravenberch as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Cody Gakpo, Florian Wirtz and Dominik Szoboszlai will play just ahead of them as part of the Liverpool attack. All three of them would have to combine well if the Reds are to come out on top this Wednesday night.
Curtis Jones, Wataru Endo and Rio Ngumoha will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to impress in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Hugo Ekitike will lead the charge for the Merseyside club up top. He has to find a way to be a real menace in the final third.
Federico Chiesa will make up the numbers on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if Liverpool are in need of a goal.
