Chelsea Have Set Their Sights On This Real Madrid Forward: Should Rosenior Get Him On Board?

In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Chelsea have set their sights on Real Madrid forward Endrick, who is currently playing on loan at Olympique Lyonnais. It is believed that the Blues are eyeing a move to bring the Brazilian talent to Stamford Bridge this year.

Endrick’s Impressive Loan Spell At Lyon

Endrick has enjoyed a good run of form at the French club recently as he has produced a few impressive displays for them in the final third. The 19-year-old has scored four goals and picked up three assists in three appearances for Lyon this season in various competitions.

The Brazilian talent is currently among the best young strikers in European football. Therefore, Chelsea would do well to get a deal over the line for him this summer.

His current contract at his parent club, Real Madrid, will expire in the summer of 2030, which could make it difficult for the Blues to sign him on the cheap this year.

Should Chelsea Boss Liam Rosenior Get Endrick On Board?

Endrick excels at finding a yard of space for himself to get a few strikes in on target. He has got the vision to engineer some decent chances for his teammates in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.

The Brazilian talent is primarily a centre-forward but can also operate as a secondary striker if asked to do so. However, there are some concerns over whether he can adapt to the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if the Blues manage to snap him up this year.

We can expect Endrick to bring more firepower to Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior’s attack. He is good enough to challenge for a regular first-team spot at the West London club. The Brazilian sensation might even help the Blues compete for some major honours in the coming seasons.

At 19, Endrick has got the potential to be a future star in English football. Hence, the Blues would be wise to get him on board next summer. However, Rosenior has to give him some time to adjust to life in England before he can unlock the best out of the player.
