In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Arsenal are ready to move in for Real Madrid playmaker Brahim Diaz. It is understood that the Gunners are planning to launch a €50m move to land the Moroccan wide player this year.
Diaz’s Impressive Form In La Liga
Diaz has struggled to earn regular first-team football at the Madrid club but has put in a few impressive displays for them in the final third. The 26-year-old has found the back of the net once and earned two assists in 18 appearances for Los Blancos this season across all fronts.
The Moroccan talent has caught the eye at times in the final third by averaging 1.41 shots per 90 minutes in La Liga. However, he has only kept 20% of his attempts on target. Diaz has even been tidy when distributing the ball in the opponent’s half based on his pass completion rate of 89.7% in league football (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will run out in the summer of 2027. Hence, the Gunners could potentially land him on a cut-price deal at the end of this campaign.

Is Diaz A Good Choice For Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta?
Diaz is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third. He can shoot the ball with venom from long range and can contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals from the wide areas when he is playing regularly on the field.
The Moroccan sensation is primarily a right winger but can also perform as a left-sided wide player or as a centre-forward if told to do so. However, only time will tell whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if Los Blancos manage to get him on board next year.
We can expect Diaz to bring more firepower to Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta’s attack. He has what it takes to compete for a regular first-team spot at the North London club in the coming years.
At 26, Diaz has got his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for the Gunners to pursue this January or at the end of this season.
