In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Arsenal are keeping a keen eye on Inter Milan full-back Federico Dimarco. It has been mentioned that the Gunners are hoping to get a deal done for the Italian defender this year.
Dimarco’s Impressive Form In Serie A
Dimarco has enjoyed a decent run of form at the Italian club after he produced a run of impressive displays on the left side of their backline. The 28-year-old has found the back of the net four times and earned seven assists in 27 appearances for Inter this season across all competitions.
The Italian sensation is currently among the most consistent left-backs in Serie A. Hence, it is no surprise that Arsenal are hoping to sign Dimarco.
His current contract at San Siro will run out in the summer of 2027, which could open the door for the Gunners to sign the Italian left-back this year.

What Will Dimarco Bring To Arsenal?
Dimarco is a good tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to earn possession back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when needed and can shoot the ball with power from long range.
The Italian sensation has got the vision to engineer some promising chances for others around him in the final third. He is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet. Dimarco is primarily a left-back but can also fill in as a centre-back or as a left-sided wide player if required. However, it remains to be seen whether he can cope with the physical style and high intensity of the Premier League.
Dimarco would bring more quality to Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta’s defence. He has what it takes to compete for a regular first-team spot at the North London club in the coming years.
At 28, Dimarco is playing in his prime and would be a great asset in Arsenal’s squad. He would be an ideal replacement for Myles Lewis-Skelly, who has struggled to prove his worth as a first-team starter at the Emirates Stadium this season. All in all, the Gunners would be wise to move in for Dimarco this year.
