Arsenal Are Hoping To Land This Talented Barcelona Winger: Real Prospect For The Future?

In a recent report, Spanish outlet E-Noticies claimed that Arsenal are hoping to land Barcelona B winger Dani Rodriguez. It has been stated that the Gunners are keeping tabs on the progress of the Spanish wide player.

Rodriguez’s Impressive Rise In Spanish Football

The 20-year-old has come through the youth ranks of Barcelona and has done well to establish himself as an important member of their B team. Rodriguez has scored five goals and earned ten assists in 38 appearances for Barca’s B side so far on all fronts.

The Spanish talent is currently among the best young wingers in his homeland. Hence, it is no surprise that the Gunners are trying to get him on board this year.

His current contract at the Catalan club will expire in the summer of 2027, which could open the door for Arsenal to sign him on the cheap at the end of this campaign.

Arsenal Are Hoping To Land Rodriguez: Is He A Prospect To Watch Out For In The Future?

Rodriguez is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with it out in the wide areas. He has got the vision to create some inviting chances in the final third and can strike the ball with venom and precision from long range.

The Spanish sensation is primarily a right-winger but can also function as a left-sided wide player if asked to do so. However, there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of English football if the Gunners manage to snap him up this year.

We can expect Rodriguez to enhance the quality of Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta’s attack in the long run. However, he would struggle to get into the North London club’s squad right now.

At 20, the future looks quite bright for Rodriguez as long as he continues to improve with each year. He is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the future, so Arteta would be wise to step up his efforts to bring the gifted winger to the Emirates Stadium this January or at the end of this season.
