Arsenal welcomed Brentford at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 11th minute when Mikel Merino found the back of the net. Mikel Arteta’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Bukayo Saka killed the game off in injury time when he got his name on the scoresheet. The contest ended with the Gunners earning a solid 2-0 win in front of the home fans.

Rice engineered a few inviting chances for his teammates in the final third.

He caught the eye at times on the right flank, but there was no goal for him.
