Manchester City entertained Brentford at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 32nd minute when Rayan Cherki found the back of the net. Pep Guardiola’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Savinho doubled his team’s advantage in the 67th minute as Man City ended up earning a solid 2-0 win in front of their home fans.

He caught the eye at times on both halves and was replaced after the hour mark.

CM: Nico Gonzalez – 7/10

Gonzalez anchored the midfield well and made two good chances in the final third.
