Rudiger And Camavinga To Start | 4-2-3-1 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup Vs Manchester City

Real Madrid will entertain Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium this Wednesday night as they look to secure a good result at home in La Liga. Los Blancos suffered a poor 2-0 loss against Celta Vigo recently, so they would be eager to bounce back with a positive result in midweek.

Xabi Alonso will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team for this game. Both Antonio Rudiger and Eduardo Camavinga could play from the start of this contest.

Defence

Thibaut Courtois will feature in between the sticks for Los Blancos after shipping in a couple of goals in his last outing. Raul Asencio will function alongside Antonio Rudiger at the centre of the Real Madrid backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.

Federico Valverde will fill in as a makeshift right-back, while Alvaro Carreras hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Fran Garcia will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga will anchor the midfield for Los Blancos as they focus on making life tough for the opposition at the centre of the park.

The gifted trio of Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler will play just ahead of them as part of Alonso’s attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Madrid giants are to secure a victory this Wednesday night.

Dani Ceballos and Brahim Diaz will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Kylian Mbappe will lead the line for Los Blancos up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in the final third.

Rodrygo and Gonzalo Garcia will be named on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the latter stages if Real Madrid are in need of a goal by then.
