Reijnders To Start, Silva On The Bench | 4-3-3 Manchester City Predicted Lineup Vs Real Madrid

Manchester City will lock horns with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium this Wednesday night as they look to secure a good result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Mancunian giants managed to earn a solid 3-0 win over Sunderland recently, so they would be full of confidence going into this game.

Pep Guardiola will set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make one change to his first team for this clash. Tijjani Reijnders could play from the start of this game, while Bernardo Silva makes way for him and drops to the bench.

Defence

Gianluigi Donnarumma will feature in goal for Man City after keeping a clean sheet in his last appearance. Ruben Dias will continue to operate alongside Josko Gvardiol at the centre of the Man City backline as they look to keep a solid shape on the defensive end of the pitch.

Matheus Nunes will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Nico O’Reilly hopes to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Nathan Ake will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Phil Foden, Nico Gonzalez and Tijjani Reijnders will make up Man City’s midfield. Their main job would be to retain possession well at the centre of the park and create some inviting chances in the final third.

Rico Lewis and Bernardo Silva will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Jeremy Doku will try to shine as the left-winger, while Rayan Cherki looks to weave his magic from the right flank. Erling Haaland will lead the charge for Man City down the middle. He would be keen on getting his name on the scoresheet after failing to do so versus Sunderland last weekend.

Omar Marmoush and Savinho will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if Man City are in need of a goal.
