Porro Gets 7, Romero With 5 | Tottenham Hotspur Players Rated In Tough Loss Vs Liverpool

Tottenham Hotspur entertained Liverpool at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a slow start to the game and found themselves at a numerical disadvantage in the 33rd minute when the referee showed Xavi Simons a red card. Thomas Frank’s men went into the half-time break with a 0-0 scoreline.

Alexander Isak scored the opener in the 56th minute with a good finish. Alexander Isak doubled his team’s advantage just ten minutes later. Richarlison got a goal back for the North London club late in the game before Cristian Romero was sent off as well in injury time. The match ended with Tottenham suffering a tough 2-1 loss in front of their home fans.

LB: Djed Spence – 6.5/10

He caught the eye at times on both halves.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur – 6.5/10

Bentancur worked hard defensively and managed to shine at times in the Liverpool half.
