Martinez To Start | 4-4-1-1 Aston Villa Predicted Lineup Vs Manchester United

Aston Villa will entertain Manchester United at Villa Park on Sunday as they look to secure a win at home in the Premier League. The Villans managed to earn a hard-fought 3-2 win away at West Ham United recently, so they would be keen on keeping their good form going this weekend.

Unai Emery will set his side up in a 4-4-1-1 formation and is expected to make one change to his first team for this clash. Emiliano Martinez could play from the start of this game.

Defence

Emiliano Martinez will feature in between the sticks for the Villans if he can recover in time for this game. Ezri Konsa will operate alongside Victor Lindelof at the centre of the Aston Villa defence as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the pitch.

Matty Cash will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Ian Maatsen hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves in the final third.

Lucas Digne will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Amadou Onana and Boubacar Kamara will anchor the midfield for the West Midlands club as they look to win the 50-50 duels in the middle of the park.

Morgan Rogers will try to impress on the left flank, while John McGinn hopes to prove himself as the right-sided wide player. Both of them will look to get in behind the Man United backline at every chance they can get.

Youri Tielemans will operate in the number ten position. He has to find a way to create some decent chances for others around him in the final third.

Emi Buendia and Jadon Sancho will be available for selection on the bench as they await their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Ollie Watkins will lead the charge for the Villans up top. He would be keen on getting his name on the scoresheet versus the Red Devils this weekend.

Evann Guessand will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
