Newcastle United locked horns with Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a positive result on the road in the Premier League. The Magpies made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 24th minute when Patrick Dorgu scored with a great strike. Eddie Howe’s players failed to come up with a response and went into the half-time interval 1-0 down on the scoreline.
The Tyneside club failed to mount a comeback in the second half and crashed to a lackluster 1-0 loss away from home.
Let’s take a look at how each Newcastle United player fared during the match against the Red Devils.

He came back to defend when needed but offered very little in the final third.

Murphy was quiet for most of his time on the pitch.
