Chelsea faced off against Leeds United at Elland Road earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the sixth minute when Jaka Bijol found the back of the net. Ao Tanaka doubled Leeds’ advantage in the 43rd minute as Enzo Maresca’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Pedro Neto got a goal back for the Blues in the 50th minute, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin restored Leeds’ two-goal advantage in the 72nd minute. The match ended with the Blues suffering a poor 3-1 loss away from home.

Sanchez made one good save at the back but conceded three times tonight.

He did his fair share of defending but offered very little going forward.

Adarabioyo made a lot of important clearances inside his half but was also guilty of committing a costly error at the back.

He cleared his lines when he could and was replaced at half-time.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 6.5/10
He performed his defensive duties well and was tidy with his passing.
CM: Andrey Santos – 6/10
Santos cleared the danger when required but lacked quality in the opponent’s half.
CM: Enzo Fernandez – 6/10
He failed to protect his teammates at the back but made two key chances in the final third.
RW: Estevao – 6/10
Estevao caught the eye at times on the right flank and was accurate with his ball distribution.
CAM: Joao Pedro – 6.5/10
He made a few inviting chances in the final third but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
LW: Jamie Gittens – 7.5/10
Gittens made a few good runs with the ball and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
ST: Liam Delap – 6.5/10
He was not shy of having a strike at goal but failed to find the back of the net.
