Bentancur, Johnson And Bergvall To Start | 4-2-3-1 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup Vs Nottingham Forest

Tottenham Hotspur will clash heads with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. Spurs managed to earn a solid 3-0 win over Slavia Praha recently, which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.

Thomas Frank will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team for this contest. Rodrigo Bentancur, Brennan Johnson and Lucas Bergvall could all play from the start of this game.

Defence

Guglielmo Vicario will operate in goal for Spurs after keeping a clean sheet in his last appearance. Cristian Romero will function alongside Micky van de Ven at the centre of the Tottenham backline as they look to keep a good shape when defending inside their half.

Pedro Porro will fill in as the right-back, while Djed Spence looks to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.

Ben Davies and Kevin Danso will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Rodrigo Bentancur and Archie Gray will anchor the midfield for the North London club as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.

The talented trio of Brennan Johnson, Lucas Bergvall and Mohammed Kudus will function just ahead of them as part of the Tottenham attack. All three of them would have to combine well if they want to create enough chances to win this contest away at Nottingham this weekend.

Joao Palhinha, Pape Matar Sarr and Xavi Simons will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Richarlison will lead the line for the North London club up top. He would be eager to find the back of the net after failing to do so versus Slavia Praha in midweek.

Randal Kolo Muani will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if required.
