In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Barcelona have set their sights on Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller. It is believed that the Catalan club are showing interest in recruiting the German talent next year.
Stiller’s Impressive Form In German Football
The 24-year-old is having a decent campaign at Stuttgart as he has put in a series of impressive displays for them in the Bundesliga. Stiller has scored one goal and grabbed six assists in 22 appearances for the German outfit this season across all fronts.
The German midfield ace has offered good protection for his teammates at the back and deserves credit for making 14 tackles, 13 blocks, ten interceptions and 12 clearances in the Bundesliga. He has even been accurate when distributing possession from midfield after completing 85.5% of his attempted passes in the top tier of German football (stats via fbref.com).
Stiller is under contract at the German club until the summer of 2028, which could make it difficult for the Catalan club to sign him on the cheap next year.

Should Barcelona Boss Hansi Flick Get Stiller On Board?
Stiller is a good tackler of the ball and can sense the danger well to secure possession back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when required and is a tidy passer of the ball as well.
The German sensation can even chip in by scoring and creating the odd goal for his team from midfield. However, there are some concerns over whether he can make a smooth transition to life in La Liga if Barcelona manage to get a deal done for him next year.
We can expect Stiller to bring more bite and steel to Barca boss Hansi Flick’s midfield department. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Nou Camp in the coming seasons.
At 24, Stiller has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a worthy target for the Catalan giants to pursue this winter or at the end of this campaign. He might even help Barcelona compete for some major honours over the next few years. With all things considered, Flick would be wise to go all out to get him on board in 2025.
