Acheampong, Hato And Santos To Start | 4-2-3-1 Chelsea Predicted Lineup Vs Atalanta

Chelsea will lock horns with Atalanta at the New Balance Arena this Tuesday night as they look to secure a positive result on the road. The Blues were held to a scoreless draw away at Bournemouth recently, so they would be keen on returning to winning ways in midweek.

Enzo Maresca will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few tweaks to his first XI for this clash. Josh Acheampong, Jorrel Hato and Andrey Santos could all play from the start of this game.

4-2-3-1 Chelsea Predicted Lineup To Face Atalanta

Defence

Robert Sanchez will play in goal for the Blues after keeping a clean sheet in his last appearance. Trevoh Chalobah will operate alongside Josh Acheampong at the heart of the Chelsea backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.

Malo Gusto will fill in as the right-back, while Marc Cucurella looks to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Benoit Badiashile and Wesley Fofana will provide cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.

Midfield

Moises Caicedo will anchor the midfield along with Andrey Santos as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.

The talented trio of Pedro Neto, Enzo Fernandez and Estevao will play just ahead of them as part of the Chelsea attack. All three of them need to link up with each other well in the final third if the Blues are to secure a win versus Atalanta this week.

Cole Palmer, Alejandro Garnacho and Reece James will be named on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Joao Pedro will lead the charge for the West London club on his own up top. He would be eager to find the back of the net versus the Italian club this Tuesday night.

Marc Guiu will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if the Blues are in need of a goal by then.
