Manchester City will clash heads with Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Saturday as they look to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Magpies managed to secure a convincing 3-0 win over Liverpool recently, so they would be full of confidence ahead of this game.
Pep Guardiola will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, Erling Haaland will once again get the nod to lead the line for Man City up top.
4-3-3 Manchester City Predicted Lineup To Face Newcastle United
Defence
Gianluigi Donnarumma will feature in between the sticks for the Mancunian club after he kept a clean sheet in his last outing. Ruben Dias will operate alongside Josko Gvardiol at the centre of the Man City defence as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.
Matheus Nunes will fill in as the right-back, while Nico O’Reilly hopes to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
John Stones and Nathan Ake will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Phil Foden, Nico Gonzalez and Bernardo Silva will make up Man City’s midfield. Their main focus would be to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and engineer some clear-cut chances in the final third.
Tijjani Reijnders will have to be content with a place on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Jeremy Doku will hope to give a good account of himself on the left flank, while Rayan Cherki hopes to prove his worth on the right wing.
Erling Haaland will spearhead Guardiola’s attack up top. He would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet and keep his good form going in the Premier League this weekend.
Omar Marmoush and Savinho will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages of the game if Man City are in need of a goal.
