Arsenal will entertain Bayern Munich at the Emirates Stadium this Wednesday night as they look to secure a good result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Gunners managed to earn a dominant 4-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur recently, which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this game.
Mikel Arteta will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, Mikel Merino will once again lead the charge for the North London club up top.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Bayern Munich
Defence
David Raya will function in between the sticks for Arsenal after he conceded one goal in his last appearance. William Saliba will operate alongside Piero Hincapie at the centre of the Arsenal backline as they look to keep the opposition at bay throughout the 90 minutes.
Jurrien Timber will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Riccardo Calafiori looks to put in a solid performance as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to go forward and express themselves in the Bayern half.
Cristhian Mosquera will offer cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.

Midfield
Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Eberechi Eze will make up Arsenal’s midfield. Their main job would be to retain possession well at the centre of the park and engineer some clear-cut chances in the final third.
Ethan Nwaneri and Christian Norgaard will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if required. However, Martin Odegaard will be sidelined for this clash due to a knee injury.
Attack
Leandro Trossard will be a nailed-on starter as the left-sided wide player, while Bukayo Saka hopes to make a difference from the right flank.
Mikel Merino will lead the line for Arsenal up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in and around the opponent’s penalty area.
Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if the Gunners are in need of a goal by then. However, Viktor Gyokeres is unlikely to recover in time for this game.
