Manchester City will welcome Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium this Sunday as they look to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants managed to earn a dominant 4-1 win over Borussia Dortmund recently, which should keep them in high spirits ahead of this game.
Pep Guardiola will opt for the 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first XI for this clash. Bernardo Silva, Rodri and Ruben Dias could all play from the start of this game.
4-3-3 Manchester City Predicted Lineup To Face Liverpool
Defence
Gianluigi Donnarumma will feature in goal for Man City after he conceded one goal in his last appearance. Ruben Dias will function alongside Josko Gvardiol at the centre of the Man City backline as they look to keep a solid shape on the defensive end of the pitch.
Matheus Nunes will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Nico O’Reilly hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
John Stones will provide cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.

Midfield
Guardiola could choose to name a midfield three of Phil Foden, Rodri and Tijjani Reijnders for this game. All three of them need to move the ball well if Man City are to create enough chances to win this contest this weekend.
Nico Gonzalez and Rico Lewis will have to settle for a place on the bench as they await their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Jeremy Doku will hope to give a good account of himself on the left flank, while Bernardo Silva looks to impress as the right-sided wide player.
Erling Haaland will spearhead Man City’s attack up top. The Norway international has to find a way to be a constant menace in and around the Liverpool penalty area.
Savio, Omar Marmoush and Rayan Cherki will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if Man City are in need of a goal by then.
