Arsenal faced off against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light earlier this evening as they looked to earn all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners made a decent start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 36th minute when Daniel Ballard found the back of the net. Mikel Arteta’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Bukayo Saka equalised for the visitors in the 54th minute before Leandro Trossard completed the turnaround for Arsenal with a stunning strike in the 74th minute. However, the Gunners conceded the equaliser in injury time as they had to settle for an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Stadium of Light.

Raya made a couple of important saves at the back, but won’t be happy about conceding twice this evening.

Eze caught the eye at times but failed to make a difference in the final third.

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Declan Rice – 7/10
Rice offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and was lively going forward.
RW: Bukayo Saka – 8/10
Saka caused a lot of headaches for his marker and managed to equalise for Arsenal with a good finish in the 54th minute.
ST: Mikel Merino – 7/10
He put in a tireless shift inside the Sunderland half and ended the game with an assist to his name.
LW: Leandro Trossard – 7/10
Trossard saw a lot of the ball and gave his team the lead with a great strike in the 74th minute.
