Leeds United entertained Aston Villa at Elland Road earlier this afternoon as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The West Yorkshire club made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the eighth minute thanks to Lukas Nmecha’s goal. Daniel Farke’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Morgan Rogers equalised for the Villans in the 48th minute before he went on to score again with a brilliant free-kick in the 75th minute. The contest ended with Leeds United suffering a tough 2-1 loss in front of their home fans.

He managed to shine at times on the right flank, but there was no goal for him.

Nmecha was a real handful for the opposition defenders and was in the right place at the right time in the lead-up to his goal in the eighth minute.

He worked hard defensively and made one promising run with the ball.
