Speaking on GIVEMESPORT‘s Market Madness podcast, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano stated that Manchester United are showing interest in Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller. Romano said,
“Conor Gallagher could be an opportunity, but Atletico Madrid didn’t want to let him go in August. So let’s see what happens in the January window. Angelo Stiller is also a player they appreciate from Stuttgart, but I don’t see a German club selling one of the stars in the January window at all. So January is not going to be easy. It’s going to be about opportunities in the summer could be different. And for sure, Manchester United in 2026 will add again, at least one midfielder.”
Stiller’s Impressive Form In The Bundesliga
Stiller has put in a string of impressive displays for the German club at the centre of the park this season. The German midfield ace has participated in 17 matches for Stuttgart this season, scoring one goal and grabbing five assists across all competitions.
The 24-year-old has offered decent protection for his teammates at the back as he has made ten tackles, nine blocks, eight interceptions and 12 clearances in the Bundesliga. He has even been accurate with his ball distribution after completing 85.8% of his attempted passes in the German top tier (stats via fbref.com).

What Will Stiller Bring To Manchester United?
Stiller is a good tackler of the ball and can sense the danger well to earn the ball back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot.
The German sensation can strike the ball well from long range and has got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third. Stiller is a decent dribbler with the ball as well, but it remains to be seen whether he can make a smooth transition to life in the Premier League.
Stiller would bring more bite and steel to Man United boss Ruben Amorim’s midfield department. He is more than capable of securing a regular first-team spot at the Mancunian club.
At 24, Stiller has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for the Red Devils to consider this winter or at the end of this campaign. However, Amorim has to give him some time to adjust to life in the Premier League.
