Digne, Cash And Kamara To Start | 4-2-3-1 Aston Villa Predicted Lineup Vs Bournemouth

Aston Villa will welcome Bournemouth at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon as they look to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Villans managed to secure a solid 2-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.

Unai Emery will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team for this clash. Lucas Digne, Matty Cash and Boubacar Kamara could all play from the start of this game.

Defence

Emiliano Martinez will function in between the sticks for the Villans after he kept a clean sheet in his last outing. Pau Torres will play alongside Ezri Konsa at the heart of the Aston Villa backline as they look to maintain a solid shape on the defensive end of the pitch.

Matty Cash will get the nod to impress as the right-back, while Lucas Digne hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.

Victor Lindelof and Ian Maatsen will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Boubacar Kamara and Amadou Onana will anchor the midfield for Emery’s side as they look to win the 50-50 duels at the centre of the park and create some decent chances in the final third.

The talented trio of Emiliano Buendia, Morgan Rogers and John McGinn will function just ahead of them as part of the Aston Villa attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Villans are to secure a positive result this weekend.

Attack

Ollie Watkins will lead the line for the West Midlands club in the final third. He has to find a way to be a real threat up top.

Donyell Malen and Jadon Sancho will have to be content with a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the latter stages of the game if the Villans are in need of a goal by then.
