Arsenal will face off against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light this Saturday evening as they hope to secure another win on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to earn an impressive 3-0 away at Slavia Praha recently, which should give them some momentum ahead of this game.
Mikel Arteta will once again set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a few tweaks to his first team for this clash. Riccardo Calafiori, Eberechi Eze and Martin Zubimendi could all play from the start of this game.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Sunderland
Defence
David Raya will feature in between the sticks for the Gunners after he kept a clean sheet in his last outing. Gabriel will function alongside Cristhian Mosquera at the heart of the Arsenal backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.
Jurrien Timber will hope to give a good account of himself as the right-back, while Riccardo Calafiori hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Piero Hincapie and William Saliba will offer cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield
Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Eberechi Eze will make up Arsenal’s midfield as they focus on establishing their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park.
Ethan Nwaneri and Christian Norgaard will be available for selection on the bench as they await their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Leandro Trossard will try to make a difference on the left flank, while Bukayo Saka hopes to catch the eye as the right-winger. Both of them will try to get in behind the opponent’s backline at every chance they get.
Mikel Merino will lead the line for the North London club up top. He would be eager to find the back of the net after scoring a brace in midweek.
Viktor Gyokeres is unlikely to recover in time for this game. However, Max Dowman and Andre Harriman-Annous will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if required.
