Despite a disappointing draw with the ten-man Braga in Europe, Rangers have won all their league games since Danny Rohl succeeded Russell Martin as the Ibrox boss. They are currently fifth in the Premiership standings, but have closed the gap with Hearts and Celtic. A win against Falkirk on Sunday afternoon could see them climb up the league ladder. However, the Light Blues must not take the newcomers lightly, having settled for a draw in the reverse fixture.
Rohl made some tactical adjustments in the Europa League, as he fielded a lineup that could offer flexibility in terms of strategy and formations. The Bairns have made a strong start to their top-flight tenure, with the Hoops being the only side to defeat them since the 1-1 draw with the Light Blues. It won’t be a stroll in the park for the Gers, as they must uplift their game after a hard-fought draw against the bottom-placed Livingston in the previous gameweek.
Predicted 4-3-3 Rangers Lineup To Face Falkirk
Defence
Jack Butland continues to be the preferred choice between the sticks ahead of Liam Kelly. The custodian has made a strong comeback this season and should keep his place in the Rangers’ goal.

Injuries to John Souttar and Derek Cornelius has decimated the club in the heart of the backline. Dujon Sterling’s return is a massive boost, but the gaffer should stick with Emiliano Fernandez and Nasser Djiga, who are the only specialists available in the heart of the backline. Skipper James Tavernier is irreplaceable down the right, and the manager must restore Jayden Meghoma on the left, after dropping him in favour of Max Aarons against the Portuguese outfit.
Midfield
Rohl is well-equipped in the middle of the park, but he must stick with Nicolas Raskin and Mohamed Diomande for their experience and all-round traits. Connor Barron has impressed in limited appearances, and his presence down the deep could allow Diomande and Raskin to operate in the advanced areas. Joe Rothwell, Lyall Cameron and Thelo Aasgaard might be brought in from the bench, as they failed to cement their roles in midfield.
Attack
Mikey Moore’s injury absence leaves Rangers with Djeidi Gassama, Oliver Antman, Nedim Bajrami and Findlay Curtis as the wide attacking options. Antman and Gassama should get the nod, being the high-profile summer arrivals, and the German boss might opt for Bojan Miovski for the ‘number 9’ spot after both Danilo and Youssef Chermiti’s lacklustre performance in Europe.
