In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Barcelona are eyeing Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski. It is understood that the Catalan club could sign the England international for €65m next year.
Kane’s Impressive Record In German Football This Season
Kane is having an excellent campaign at the German club after he put in a string of productive displays as the focal point of their attack. The England international has scored 23 goals and picked up three assists in 17 matches for Bayern Munich this season in multiple competitions.
The 32-year-old has proven his value in the final third by averaging 3.41 shots per 90 minutes in the Bundesliga. He has kept 46.7% of his attempts on target. Kane has even distributed the ball well in the opponent’s half, based on his pass completion rate of 81.7% in the German top flight (stats via fbref.com).
Kane is under contract at the Bavarian club until the summer of 2027, which could give Barcelona a chance to sign him on a cut-price deal at the end of this season.
Will Signing Kane Be A Good Move For Barcelona Boss Hansi Flick?
Kane excels at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third and is an energetic runner with the ball.
The English sensation remains one of the best goal-scorers in European football. Therefore, he would be a massive acquisition for Barcelona if they could devise a way to bring him on board next summer.
