Real Madrid will lock horns with Elche at the Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero this Sunday night as they look to secure a good result on the road in La Liga. Los Blancos were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw away at Rayo Vallecano before the international break, so they would be eager to return to winning ways this weekend.
Xabi Alonso will set his side up in a 4-4-2 formation and is expected to make a couple of changes to his first team for this game. Both Trent Alexander-Arnold and David Alaba could play from the start of this contest against Elche.
4-4-2 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Elche
Defence
Thibaut Courtois will operate in between the sticks for Los Blancos after keeping a clean sheet in his last league outing. David Alaba will function alongside Raul Asencio at the heart of the Real Madrid backline as they look to keep things solid at the back throughout the 90 minutes.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will fill in as the right-back, while Alvaro Carreras hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Fran Garcia and Ferland Mendy will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench. However, both Eder Militao and Dean Huijsen are unlikely to recover in time for this game.

Midfield
Eduardo Camavinga and Arda Guler will operate as the box-to-box midfielders for Los Blancos as they look to create some inviting chances in the final third.
Federico Valverde will try to put in a good showing on the right flank, while Vinicius Jr. hopes to put his pace to good use as the left-winger. Both of them will be instructed to get in behind the opponent’s backline at every chance they get.
Dani Ceballos and Rodrygo will have to be content with a place on the bench as they await their chance to make an impact in the second half if needed.
Attack
Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe will lead the line for the Madrid giants up top. Both of them need to combine well if Real Madrid are to secure all three points this weekend.
Gonzalo Garcia will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if required.
