In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Real Madrid are set to rival Liverpool for Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram. It has been stated that Los Blancos are showing interest in recruiting the French talent next year.
Thuram’s Impressive Form In Italian Football This Season
The 24-year-old has made a decent start to this campaign as he has put in a few impressive displays for Juventus at the centre of the park. Thuram has registered one goal and grabbed one assist in nine matches for the Turin club this season across all fronts.
The French midfielder has offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and deserves credit for making 13 tackles, three blocks, four interceptions and eight clearances in Serie A. He has even been excellent when distributing possession from midfield after completing 87.7% of his attempted passes in the Italian top flight (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the Turin club will expire in the summer of 2029. Hence, Los Blancos would have to launch a convincing offer if they are serious about signing Thuram next year.

Will Thuram Be A Good Option For Real Madrid Boss Xabi Alonso?
Thuram can do a little bit of everything at the centre of the park. He is a solid tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when needed and is a good passer of the ball as well.
The French talent can even chip in by scoring and creating the odd goal for his team from midfield. Thuram is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also serve as a defensive midfielder if told to do so. However, there are some concerns over whether he can maintain his good form in La Liga.
Thuram would no doubt enhance the quality of Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso’s midfield department. He has what it takes to fight for regular first-team football at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
At 24, Thuram has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a great option for Los Blancos to consider next year. Thus, Alonso should focus on going all out to get him on board this January or at the end of this campaign.
