Arsenal will welcome Brighton and Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium this Wednesday night as they hope to secure a positive result at home in the EFL Cup. The Gunners managed to secure a hard-fought 1-0 win over Crystal Palace recently, which should keep them in high spirits ahead of this game.
Mikel Arteta will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a whole host of changes to his first team for this clash. Ethan Nwaneri, Mikel Merino and Ben White could all play from the start of this game.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Brighton
Defence
Kepa Arrizabalaga will operate in between the sticks for the Gunners as he looks to secure a clean sheet at the Emirates. Cristhian Mosquera will play alongside Piero Hincapie at the centre of the Arsenal defence as they look to keep a good shape at the back during the 90 minutes.
Ben White will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Myles Lewis-Skelly hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will hope to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Jurrien Timber and Gabriel will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Mikel Merino, Christian Norgaard and Eberechi Eze will make up Arteta’s midfield. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to engineer enough chances for the Gunners to earn a convincing win in midweek.
Declan Rice and Martin Zubimendi will be rested on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Leandro Trossard will hope to prove his worth as the left-sided wide player, while Ethan Nwaneri looks to shine on the right flank.
Viktor Gyokeres will once again lead the line for the North London club up top. He would be eager to find the back of the net after failing to register a goal against Crystal Palace last weekend.
Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli will be named on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if the Gunners are in need of a goal by then.
