Newcastle United welcomed Fulham at St. James’ Park earlier this afternoon as they look to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Magpies made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 18th minute when Jacob Murphy got his name on the scoresheet. The Tyneside club managed to get to the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Sasa Lukic equalised for the visitors in the 56th minute. However, Bruno Guimaraes managed to score the winning goal for Eddie Howe’s side in the 90th minute. The contest finished with Newcastle earning a narrow 2-1 win in front of their home supporters.

He made a few solid saves at the back and did enough to limit the opposition to just one goal.

Trippier cleared the danger when he could and made two good chances in the final third.

Botman cleared his lines when he could, but failed to keep things solid inside his half. He was replaced at the hour mark.

Joelinton was a positive influence at both ends of the field.

He caught the eye at times on both halves and ended up scoring the winning goal in the 90th minute.

Miley earned possession back twice and was replaced in the 60th minute.
RW: Jacob Murphy – 7.5/10
He was a constant menace in the final third and did well to score in the 18th minute.
ST: Nick Woltemade – 6.5/10
Woltemade caused some headaches for his marker, but there was no goal for him.

He made two key chances in the final third and was replaced in the 75th minute.
