Manchester City will face off against Aston Villa at Villa Park this Sunday afternoon as they look to earn a positive result on the road in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants managed to secure a solid 2-0 win away at Villarreal recently, which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.
Pep Guardiola will opt for the 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first XI for this contest. Phil Foden, Tijjani Reijnders and Nico O’Reilly could play from the start of this game.
4-3-3 Manchester City Predicted Lineup To Face Aston Villa
Defence
Gianluigi Donnarumma will feature in goal for the Mancunian club after he kept a clean sheet in his last outing. Ruben Dias will operate alongside Josko Gvardiol at the centre of the Man City backline as they look to maintain a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.
Matheus Nunes will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Nico O’Reilly fills in on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will try to go forward and offer some decent support to their teammates up top.
Nathan Ake will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Phil Foden, Nico Gonzalez and Tijjani Reijnders will make up Guardiola’s midfield. Their main focus would be to establish their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park.
Rico Lewis and Mateo Kovacic will have to be content with a place on the bench as they await their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Jeremy Doku will hope to put his pace to good use on the left flank, while Bernardo Silva looks to impress as the right-sided wide player.
Erling Haaland will lead the line for Man City up top. The Norway international would fancy his chances of scoring against the Villans after he scored the opener against Villarreal earlier this year.
Savio and Omar Marmoush will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if the Mancunian outfit are in need of a goal by then.
