In a recent report, Fichajes revealed that Barcelona are eyeing a move for Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic. It has been stated that the Catalan club are showing interest in signing the Serbian striker on a free transfer next year.
Vlahovic’s Impressive Numbers In Italian Football
Vlahovic has enjoyed a good run of form for the Turin giants this season as he has produced a run of productive displays for them in Serie A. The Serbian talent has been involved in ten matches for Juventus in this campaign so far, scoring four goals and picking up one assist in various competitions.
The 25-year-old has proven his worth in the final third by averaging 3.42 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A. Vlahovic has kept 44.4% of his attempts on target. However, he has to find a way to improve his ball distribution after completing just 57.6% of his attempted passes in the Italian top tier (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the Italian club will run out at the end of this campaign, which could open the door for Barcelona to snap him up on a free transfer next summer.

What Will Vlahovic Bring To Barcelona?
Vlahovic excels at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the eye to create the odd chance for his teammates in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.
Standing at 1.90m, the Serbian sensation is a strong presence in the air as well. However, Vlahovic has to figure out a way to improve his link-up play up top. Plus, there are some question marks over whether he can maintain his good form in La Liga if Barca can manage to sign him next year.
We can expect Vlahovic to bring more quality to Barcelona boss Hansi Flick’s attack. He is good enough to serve as an ideal replacement for Robert Lewandowski at the Catalan club.
At 25, Vlahovic has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for Barca to consider next summer. Furthermore, he is on an expiring contract, which makes him an affordable option for Flick to pursue in 2026.
