Arsenal have only themselves to blame as they dropped another opportunity to reduce the points gap with table-toppers Liverpool. The former side saw a 1-0 defeat against West Ham United which kept the Reds ahead by seven points.
Mikel Arteta must be fuming at his players as they failed to do the needful this weekend. Without any further ado, let’s get onto the real topic.
Arsenal Players Rated In Loss Against West Ham United
David Raya (6/10) – Nothing much the goalkeeper could’ve done to avoid the only goal West Ham United scored.

Jurrien Timber (5/10) – Made some good runs down the right wing but failed to make anything productive out of it.
William Saliba (6/10) – Though tried and managed to keep things tight at the backline, the performance wasn’t still great enough.
Gabriel Magalhaes (5/10) – Looked a bit unsettled today and could’ve done much better for sure.
Riccardo Calafiori (4/10) – A loose performance from the left-back as he gave away the possession at times and didn’t cover up the spaces well.
Declan Rice (5/10) – A below par day for the English international midfielder and was taken off rightfully.
Thomas Partey (6/10) – Was doing decently well but couldn’t provide enough support in the offensive parts.
Martin Odegaard (6/10) – Struggled to decode the Hammers’ defence and create some useful opportunities.
Ethan Nwaneri (5/10) – Tried to get on this strong left foot on multiple occasions but the opponents didn’t provide him with enough space.
Mikel Merino (5/10) – Made some good runs but failed to make any impact on the game.
Leandro Trossard (5/10) – Wasted many opportunities but Mikel Arteta was helpless due to the lack of attacking options.
