Arsenal are preparing to host Dinamo Zagreb at home in the Champions League this midweek. The former side had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa in the Premier League in their previous game and need to bounce back.
The Gunners are third on the Champions League points table and their direct qualification is almost certain. Mikel Arteta’s men would want to secure a win in this fixture to confirm their berth and also regain the lost momentum.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup vs Dinamo Zagreb
Defence
David Raya looked a bit shaky against the Villans but that shouldn’t keep him away from starting between the sticks this week. Jurrien Timber was used as the centre-back in the previous game but could return to the right-back position, replacing Thomas Partey.
It also means that Jakub Kiwior is likely to come into the XI to form the defensive duo with Gabriel Magalhaes. Myles Lewis-Skelly should also be making way for Oleksandr Zinchenko at the left-back spot.
Midfield
Jorginho is deployed as the deep-lying midfielder to control the tempo of the game, which means Mikel Merino will find himself on the bench. The former would have the company of Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard in the middle of the park.
Attack
Kai Havertz is likely to retain his position in the starting XI as the number nine with Leandro Trossard running down on the left flank. However, Mikel Arteta might prefer Raheem Sterling ahead of Gabriel Martinelli for the right-wing despite the latter’s score recently.
William Saliba (hamstring), Ben White (knee), Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee), Bukayo Saka (hamstring), Gabriel Jesus (knee) and Ethan Nwaneri (muscle) are all unavailable for the Gunners for this fixture.
