After a disappointing 2-2 draw against Brentford, Manchester City bounced back stronger by netting six goals against Ipswich Town and registering a win. Their next game is scheduled against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the Champions League.
This fixture is extremely important for the Citizens as they are placed 22nd on the points table. A win will solidify their spot for the next round while a defeat can put them under unwanted circumstances.
4-3-3 Manchester City Predicted Lineup vs PSG
Defence
Ederson enjoyed a great time against Ipswich Town but will be tested multiple times against PSG and he should be ready to perform well. Unsurprisingly, Rico Lewis takes the right-back duties from Matheus Nunes.
Ruben Dias’ return was a big boost for the Citizens and he will form the heart of the defence with Manuel Akanji once again. No doubt who’s starting as the left full-back in the lineup, it’s none other than Josko Gvardiol.
Midfield
In the absence of Rodri, Mateo Kovacic’s presence in the midfield is a no-brainer. He will be joined by Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva in the middle of the park.
It also means that Ilkay Gundogan needs to warm the bench but can be utilized in the latter stages of the game.
Attack
Phil Foden has had a great run in 2025 so far and he will look to continue his services from the right flank with Savinho troubling the opponents from the other side of the pitch.
Erling Haaland leads the attacking line yet again and will be instrumental for Pep Guardiola’s side to find the back of the net.
Nathan Ake (muscular), John Stones (ankle), and Rodri (ACL) are injured while the new additions Omar Marmoush and Abdukodir Khusanov are ineligible to participate in this fixture.
