According to Fichajes, Liverpool are eyeing a move for Real Madrid attacker Brahim Diaz next summer. The Premier League club want to strengthen their attacking unit going forward and find the versatile forward as a viable target.
Brahim Diaz isn’t a regular starter at Real Madrid
Brahim Diaz came through Manchester City Academy but failed to establish himself there. As a result, he moved to Real Madrid in the winter window of 2019. Since then, he has been able to make a name for himself and contribute significantly to the club.
Though Diaz isn’t a regular starter, he is still a valuable utility player for the Whites. He has featured across 23 games this season so far, netting thrice and assisting five goals. He is averaging 0.9 shots, 0.8 key passes, and 1.2 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored).
The Morrocan player is extremely versatile as he can don different roles in the offensive front. He is able to create spaces for his teammates and create chances. With accurate passing, strong finishing skills, and defensive contributions, he adds a lot of value to the unit.
Brahim Diaz can be a good fit at Liverpool
Liverpool are doing outstanding under their new manager Arne Slot across all competitions so far. The new think-tank didn’t make too many additions to the unit but it’s quite obvious that he will be bringing players of his choice in the summer.
One of the names that have emerged is Brahim Diaz whom the Reds can target. Considering the uncertainty over the future of Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz, the English giant wants to strengthen the unit and hence, the pursuit of the Real Madrid man could be undertaken.
Liverpool can bring the 25-year-old for a reasonable amount, who can add creativity in the final third. The attacker has prior Premier League experience and can serve at Anfield for many years to come.
