According to Caught Offside, Premier League club Chelsea are considering bringing Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush at Stamford Bridge. There is no gaurantee that the Blues will make an official attempt as they are still evaluating things.
Omar Marmoush is unstoppable
Omar Marmoush joined Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023. He has already established himself as a mainstay in the squad and is considered one of the most exciting attackers. His consistently impressive displays have attracted interest from multiple European clubs.
Marmoush is breathing fire in the ongoing campaign. He has already netted 18 goals in 24 outings apart from providing 12 assists. He is averaging 3.8 shots, 2.1 key passes, and 2.4 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored).
The Egyptian is typically a striker but can also operate on the wings. He has electrifying pace, effective dribbling skills, and a killer in one-on-one situation. With free-kick taking abilities and powerful shooting range, he is a valuable attacker.
An upgrade for Nicolas Jackson?
Chelsea are still working on bringing a new striker in the 2025 summer window. The club want to bring an upgrade for Nicolas Jackson while they are still unsure about the future of Christopher Nkunku as he is not getting enough game-time.
Hence, the Blues are considering acquiring the services of Omar Marmoush. The 25-year-old is already proving his talent at the German club. His additon will surely boost Enzo Maresca’s unit and help them be more lethal in the final third.
