Barcelona registered another victory in the Champions League as they overpowered Borussia Dortmund at their own den. With their latest win, they are almost confirmed to qualify for the round of 16 directly, avoiding an extra round of play.
Hansi Flick’s side will next lock horns with Leganes in the La Liga this weekend. Though they are first on the points table, they have dropped too many points in the recent league games. Hence, they should be more focused and collect all three points.
4-2-3-1 Barcelona Predicted Lineup Vs Leganes
Defence
Inaki Pena made a silly error to give away an easy goal against Borussia Dortmund. However, Hansi Flick might not punish him by sending him on the bench. Jules Kounde has owned the right-back spot and there is no doubt over his selection.
Ronald Araujo could be finally making his comeback at the cost of Inigo Martinez. He should be pairing up with Pau Cubarsi at the backline. Left-back Alejandro Balde wasn’t good enough but his position in the lineup is very much unchallenged.
Midfield
Though the Spanish side has options like Frenkie de Jong, Gavi and Fermin Lopez, Flick is likely to deploy Marc Casado and Pedri in the middle of the park yet again.
Dani Olmo continues to operate in the attacking areas as he provides his technical and creative skills.
Attack
No prizes for guessing who’ll be seen on the right flank for Barcelona. Obviously, it’s Lamine Yamal, who is having a great season so far. Leader of the pack, Raphinha will provide his services from the other wing.
Robert Lewandowski had a quiet game against the German side but he leads the offensive line once again.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Marc Bernal are unavailable. However, Ansu Fati and Andreas Christensen might earn some minutes if possible.
