It seems like Tottenham Hotspur devastating performance against Liverpool got the better of them in their game against Nottingham Forest. The former side looked vulnerable and shaky before they had to settle for a 0-1 scoreline against them.
Spurs have their next game scheduled against Wolves at home this Sunday. Ange Postecoglou’s men would like to return into the winning ways as they are currently on the second half on the points table. They also have important games lined up next month.
4-2-3-1 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup vs Wolves
Defence
Fraser Forster made some good saves in the previous game and should be ready to take up the goalie duties once again. Djed Spence is suspended for this fixture after picking up a red card in the previous game. In his absence, Pedro Porro starts as the right-back.
While Archie Gray continues at the heart of the defence, Radu Dragusin’s injury means he makes way for Alfie Dorrington. Left-back Destiny Udogie will retain his spot in the lineup only if he gets the green light to participate.
Midfield
Ange Postecoglou is expected to bring Yves Bissouma and Lucas Bergvall in the middle of the park at the cost of Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr.
Attack
While Dejan Kulusevski and Son Heung-min operate on the wings, the return of James Maddison is almost inevitable. He will replace Brennan Johnson in the lineup to play in the central areas.
Dominic Solanke wasn’t up to the mark against Nottingham Forest but his position is very much secured.
Ben Davies (hamstring) suffered a setback and will miss out, while Mikey Moore (illness), Guglielmo Vicario (ankle), Micky van de Ven (thigh), Cristian Romero (thigh), Wilson Odobert (hamstring) and Richarlison (hamstring) are nowhere near to returning.
