Since registering a win over Manchester City, Manchester United have lost three in a row. Their most recent defeat came against Wolves in the Premier League. They badly need to change things around in their next game which is scheduled against Newcastle United.
The Red Devils will host the Magpies at home on Monday night in the league. It will be an important game for Ruben Amorim’s men to regain their lost confidence especially considering the fact that they have to face the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal in the subsequent games.
3-4-3 Manchester United Predicted Lineup vs Newcastle United
Defence
Andre Onana had a mixed game against Wolves and he will look to redeem himself against the Magpies this week.
Harry Maguire is likely to lead the side in the absence of Bruno Fernandes. It also means that Matthijs de Ligt will have to warm the bench as Leny Yoro and Lisandro Martinez are the other top names in the three-man backline.
Midfield
Noussair Mazraoui continues to play as the right full-back with Diogo Dalot taking care of the other side of the pitch.
Kobbie Mainoo should also continue in the middle of the park but Ruben Amorim will be forced to make a change as Manuel Ugarte is suspended for this game. He picked his fifth yellow card and his position could be grabbed by Casemiro.
Attack
The Red Devils will be without Bruno Fernandes as the Portuguese was sent off in the previous game. His absence might open the door for Alejandro Garnacho to start the game alongside.
The Argentine will have the companies of Rasmus Hojlund and Amad Diallo in the offensive line.
Mason Mount, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw are injured while Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte are suspended for this game.
