Chelsea ripped apart Noah in the Europa Conference League as they smashed eight goals. The latest win will boost their confidence ahead of their important game lined up against Arsenal at home in the Premier League this Sunday.
The Blues are fourth on the points table and a win will bring them closer to the top spot. It will be a golden opportunity for them to secure three points against a comparatively struggling Gunners.
4-2-3-1 Chelsea Predicted Lineup Vs Arsenal
Defence
Filip Jorgensen had a comfortable game last night where he didn’t have much to do. However, as usual, Robert Sanchez will be back to operate between the sticks. Right-back Axel Disasi did well but is set to make way for Malo Gusto.
No doubt that Benoit Badiashile and Tosin Adarabioyo will be replaced by Wesley Fofana and Levi Colwill at the heart of the defence. Skipper Reece James should take his original left-back role as well, sending Renato Veiga to the bench.
Midfield
Enzo Maresca prefers the duo of Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo in the midfield and there is no reason he would think otherwise. Despite Enzo Fernandez doing well in the previous game, he will have to warm the bench and is supposed to be used in the second half.
Attack
Chelsea are sweating over the fitness of Cole Palmer, who suffered a blow during the Manchester United clash. If he fails to regain full fitness, one of Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix is expected to be deployed to fill the profile.
As Jadon Sancho is also doubtful for the game, Pedro Neto and Noni Madueke should be operating on the flanks. They will have to feed Nicolas Jackson up front, who leads the attacking line once again.
