Barcelona continue their dream run as they beat Espanyol after overpowering the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in recent weeks. The Hansi Flick side won their latest game by 3-1 and are sitting atop the points table with a comfortable nine-point lead.
The Spanish side are now preparing for their next game against Crvena Zvezda in the Champions League this midweek. They have two wins in three games and would like to add another three points in the competition.
4-2-3-1 Barcelona Predicted Lineup Vs Crvena Zvezda
Defence
Inaki Pena made some important saves in the previous game. Fair to say that he is on an improving roll and will once again don the gloves. Hector Fort was given a start against Espanyol in which he did enough to prove his quality.
However, Jules Kounde is expected to return to take onto the field. Negligible chance that Hansi Flick would think about altering any of Inigo Martinez or Pau Cubarsi at the heart of the defence. Alejandro Balde is also a preferred choice for the left-back role.
Midfield
Marc Casado is owning his spot in the playing XI and he is set to start yet another game. While Barcelona now have plenty of midfielders available, Pedri should operate in the middle of the park.
Attack
Dani Olmo scored a brace and showcased that he has regained his full fitness. He will again be deployed in the middle with Raphinha and Lamine Yamal operating on the flanks.
Robert Lewandowski couldn’t find the back of the net in the last game and will be eager to put himself on the scoresheet.
The likes of Fermin Lopez, Ansu Fati, Frenkie De Jong, and Gavi are supposed to get game time in the second half.
