Newcastle United have beaten the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest in their last few games. They are now preparing for the clash with West Ham United in the Premier League in which they will enjoy the support of the home crowd.
The Magpies are eight on the points table with 18 points after 11 rounds of play. They will look to continue their amazing run and collect another three points on Sunday night.
4-3-3 Newcastle United Predicted Lineup Vs West Ham United
Defence
Nick Pope had a mixed performance against Nottingham Forest. Hence, he will be eager to do better and eventually register a clean sheet. Tino Livramento is likely to continue operating as the right-back in the lineup.
Dan Burn to serve a one-match suspension as he collected his fifth yellow card of the season in the league. In his absence, Lloyd Kelly should be making the centre-back duo with Fabian Schar. No change at the left-back position as Lewis Hall retains his spot.
Midfield
Eddie Howe is unlikely to make any changes in the midfield unit which he fielded prior to the international break. While Bruno Guimaraes and Sean Longstaff have been doing really well for the side, Joe Willock needs to step up immediately and start impacting the game more often.
Attack
Joelinton was phenomenal in the previous game and should be deployed on the right flank. Alexander Isak is also a certain pick for leading the attacking line. On the other hand, Anthony Gordon didn’t have a remarkable game but is unlikely to face any heat.
Jamaal Lascelles (knee), Sven Botman (knee), and Emil Krafth (collarbone) are confirmed absentees. Notably, Kieran Trippier (thigh) and Callum Wilson (back) are progressing well but shouldn’t be risked to start the game.
